May 9, 2009 is our fourth Northern Virginia KidFest!
The festival is a celebration of the arts and imagination
for the entire family. A fundraiser for local charities, the event is being held in the
Clifton Town Park, which was finished with funds from previous Kidfests! Come and have fun!

Pack
your car for a short drive to Fairfax County’s
best-kept secret . . . the historic Town of Clifton.
The Clifton Betterment Association (your official host for
KidFest) has committments from several newspapers, magazines,
and other media outlets to advertise this event.
The
CBA is organized to promote the interests and general welfare
of the Town of Clifton in Fairfax County, Virginia; encourage
the renovation, restoration, and orderly development of the
Town; and sponsor and support cultural and recreational activities
in the community. The CBA has provided funds to groups
such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lions, PTA, and local
churches.
Event Date
Saturday May 9, 2009
Hours
Official show time is 10am to 4 pm. No set-up or break-down
between these hours. You may set up anytime after 6am. No
vehicles have access to the park after 9am
Criteria
The vendor/exhibitor spaces are intended to be child-oriented. Child-related crafts and activities; children’s toys, clothing, and accessories; children’s health and fitness items; and other fun, family-oriented articles and services are appropriate. Informational exhibitors will also be allowed. Exhibitors should provide crafts, activities, or samples for children to experience while visiting their space..
Exhibitor Spaces
Space sizes vary but will be no less than 10 x 10 feet. Each exhibitor is required to furnish their complete display. No electrical, phone or water hookups are available. Please understand that many factors contribute to ultimate space designations. Exhibitors will clean their own spaces and remove
all trash and merchandise at the close of the festival.
Unloading and Setup
Unloading must happen before 9 am Saturday morning. Approximately 1 week before the event, a map will be provided to each exhibitor with instructions on how to enter town, the location of the exhibitor parking areas and information about the check-in process.
Parking
Parking is not permitted in show spaces. Please follow the map provided with your confirmation and park where indicated after you unload.
Pets, Food, Beverage, and Alcohol
No edible items may be sold by the Exhibitors, there will
be no additional food or beverage vendors. Sale of food
and beverages at Clifton Day is the exclusive province of
the festival. There are no alcoholic beverages permitted at
KidFest. Also, for the safety of the children, no pets other
than service animals will be permitted at the park.
Disclaimer
Vendors and Exhibitors are responsible for their own entries,
including loss by breakage, theft, fire, or any other cause
of damage, loss, or injury to inventory or self. Vendors
and Exhibitors are responsible for any insurance they deem
necessary. The Town of Clifton (“Town”)
and the Clifton Betterment Association (“CBA”),
its directors, members, and volunteers shall not be liable
for any loss or injury.

DEADLINE: Applications are due by April 15, 2009. Priority will be given to those vendors that best meet the criteria above.
